| As a blues player, I like an organic, natural guitar sound. But again, playing on different stages from night to night makes me really appreciate the addition of a few effects if needed. My favorite, and most recent addition is the Centaur by KLON. It really fattens up the sound of my guitar without changing my tone when playing at lower volumes. And if needed, I can add some crunch. I always have an Ibanez Tube-Screamer with me for that extra singing sound on tunes that are more on the blues-rock side. I've retired my TS-9 and now take a TS-10 on the road. I have an old VOX wah-wah pedal that really sounds cool. I love using it, sparingly, throughout the night like an added spice. And a big thank you to BOSS for designing a floor pedal tuner that you can see on dark stages I dig my TU-2! |
