Rockland Blues Festival!

The Rockland Blues Festival divided the weekend into the "male" day and the "female" day. The concept seemed to go over great with the fans, as it was the most highly attended festival to date. I got to meet and hear an artist that I've always heard about, but never experienced: Rosie Ladett. She was great and so beautiful and sweet! And girlfriend can play squeezebox! Her zydeco band is pretty much a family affair - a tradition down in Louisianna - with husband, uncle and even her fourteen year old nephew on drums in the band.
