ON THE ROAD AGAIN - ELECTION BLUES!

Our most recent road trip took us out ot the Midwest. It was Nov. 7, the night of the election, and having all gotten up early that morning to vote, we've been driving all day. The road through Ohio was now dark and dreary with a thick fog rolling in. As if this didn't make the drive tense enough, we were trying to keep up with the election returns which swang surprisingly toward Gore, early on, then over to Bush... then back to Gore, and by the time we pulled into a Super 8 motel to get some sleep, it looked like Bush was gonna take it. We figured we'd get some sleep and find out in the morning. Little did we know, that here it is a month later, and the decision is still yet to be finalized!

BLUES ALERT! - There's a cool new club out in Toledo Ohio called Mona's. Mona is the proprietor, bartender, and hostess. She is beautiful! This classy lady creates a great vibe as she meets and greets her guests. With an ample bar, good size stage, dance floor, and plenty of tables and chairs to get cozy in, this joint is jumpin' and worth a stop if you're anywhere in the area!
